I was here mainly for the large and really well stocked bakery section. Gets really busy during lunch hours, so be prepared to stand in line at the cashiers with Chinese uncles pushing you every which way! The food is really good value for money, and you would do well going here for staples like the giant BBQ pork buns over some local takeaways. I also really liked their cocktail buns. Definitely check out this place when you’re in the are. Just don’t make my mistakes and grab so much food “as a snack for later” that you spoil your dinner, lmao
This Asian food market is a one-stop shop for all your Chinese food cravings. They have sections for poultry, frozen dumplings, hot pot, seafood, fresh vegetables, baked goods, roast meats, sushi, hot foods, and more. At the hot foods section, you can get a whole platter of vegetables and meat for under $5. We got a pork and veggies platter for $4.75 and a sago coconut milk for $1.75. You can also get congee for under $4 here. There's so many things that you can buy just for a couple dollars at this food market. Deluxe Food Market is so bustling The place is packed from beginning to end and during meal times, it's shoulder to shoulder, which can get overwhelming. If you come at night before closing there's big market discounts on the food!
love the place for cooked food section... I visit NYC have to stop by here to buy their beef noodles and fried rice, sticky rice and roast pork lunch box... not just for the surprising fair price but the amazing taste food!!! Beef noodle seem dried without soup but once I got back home, just add a bit water and dumped whole box of beef and noodle in to reheat....! my goodness, the best beef noodle soup I haven't had for a long long time!!! though the beef is tough so i steamed it before dumping into the soup pot, all good except the container was leaking, all soup got on both myself and the cashier!!! still will go back to buy more next time i go to NYC! Everything is so good especially the roast pork rice and now beef noodle is my new fav!
Deluxe Food Market is a hidden gem! It's a great place to experience authentic local flavors at budget-friendly prices. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return.
Do not walk in here hungry. Lol
